Find-RAM
- Client
- Own company
- Year
- 2026
- Role
- Webshop, marketing and all automation
- Question
- There was no usable overview of DDR server memory, and refurbished modules from data centres weren't reaching European buyers.
- Approach
- First built a database of all DDR server models, then put a webshop around it.
- Result
- Over 2,300 DDR part numbers online with quote requests, and around a hundred types in stock.
The situation
The first question I got was small: build a database of all DDR server memory models. It didn’t exist in a usable form, while everyone who works with servers needs it.
Once that database was in place, something else became visible. A huge amount of memory leaves large data centres that is technically good for years to come. The quality of those chips is high — they’re replaced because the data centre moves on, not because they’re worn out. What was missing was a party that opens up that supply to European buyers.
That’s also what this is about. Compute is scarce, and in that race Europe depends on what remains available elsewhere. We source worldwide but sell in Europe: memory that stays here instead of leaking away.
What I did
From database to webshop. I’m responsible for the webshop, the marketing and all automation in the company. My business partner is CEO and handles buying and selling.
That split is the point. A trading company stands or falls by how many actions are left per order, and that’s exactly where automation makes the difference, rather than where it merely sounds nice.
What came of it
Over 2,300 DDR part numbers are online, each with a quote request. Around a hundred types are in stock.
Why this case is here: entrepreneurs notice immediately whether you’ve ever bought stock yourself. Find-RAM isn’t a side project but a running business with real margins, real customers and real mistakes.
